Tenocare EF is a combination ARV for the treatment of HIV in adults. Tenocare EF consists of three active ingredients:
- Efavirenz
- Emtricitabine
- Tenofovir.
The drug inhibits the action of the reverse transcriptase enzyme.

Recommendations for use
The recommended dosage of Tenocare EF is 1 tablet by mouth once every 24 hours. Do not chew, swallow whole, drink plenty of water. Should be taken before meals, as eating often increases the concentration of efavirenz, which can cause unpleasant side effects. To prevent unwanted side effects from the nervous system, the drug is recommended to be taken before bedtime.
Contraindications
Tenocare EF is contraindicated in patients with chronic hepatitis B, as its use can exacerbate the disease. The most common side effects when taking Tenocare EF are:

Special recommendations
Tenocare EF is contraindicated in some patient groups. You should seek medical advice:
