Sofheet is a new generation antiviral drug. Its active substance is sofosbuvir - an NS5B polymerase inhibitor that inhibits HVC virus replication.

It is an inhibitor of non-structural protein 5A (NS5A), a multifunctional protein required for HCV replication, and thus suppresses two stages of the virus life cycle - viral RNA replication and virion assembly.
